My painting, Las Plumas is my way of sharing a bit of magic in my life with you.
Very often feathers find me. No, I don’t look for them, they have landed on my shoe, been along my path, and generally appear very frequently wherever I am.
What does it mean? Honestly, I don’t know. But I do know it’s magical. And that I enjoy these gifts and how they comfort me. My best guess is that they tell me I’m on the right path.
They come to me in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Most recently I found two bright yellow feathers. These in particular inspired me to write a poem and to modify this painting, “Las Plumas”.
The uniqueness of the yellow and black feathers represents unique people and connections I am privileged to find in my life.
